Privacy Statement

The Korea Creative Content Agency (the, ‘Agency’) respects Members’ private information and complies with the law on the ACT ON PROMOTION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK UTILIZATION AND INFORMATION PROTECTION.

The Agency shall inform all Customers what purpose and method the private information provided by the Customer through the privacy statement and how such information is used and what measures are taken to protect privacy.

In case of revising the privacy statement, the Agency shall notify Customers through website announcement (or individual notice).

1. Private information being collected

The Agency shall collect the following private information for membership registration, consultation, service application, etc.

  • List of collection:
    • Required for individual membership registration: Access ID, password, name, email, and mobile phone number
    • Required for corporate membership registration: Company classification, company name, company introduction, company logo, country, year of establishment, number of employees
    • Optional when joining corporate membership: Homepage, corporate IR, company video, address
  • How to collect private information: Sing up via the homepage
2. Collection and use of personal information

The Agency shall use collected private information for the following purposes:

  • Provision of content to provide services, member management, identity verification according to membership service use, personal identification, age verification, confirmation of consent of legal representative when collecting personal information of children under 14 years of age, delivery of notices, identification of access frequency, or Member statistics on service use
3. Retention and period of use of private information

The Agency shall use collected private information for the following purposes:

  • The Agency shall destroy private information immediately without exception after the purpose of collecting and using corporate information has been achieved.
4. Procedure and method of destroying private information

The Agency shall destroy private information immediately after the purpose of collection and use of corporate information has been achieved, using the following mode:

  • Procedure: Information provided for membership registration is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved (separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) and stored for a certain period of time according to internal policies and information protection reasons in accordance with other relevant laws (see retention and use period) and destroyed.

    Private information shall be relocated to a separate DB that is not used for purposes other retaining private information, except in cases pursuant to the law.
  • Method: Private information stored in electronic file format shall be deleted using a technical method by which the record cannot be reproduced.
5. Provision of private information

In principle, the Agency shall not provide users’ private information externally. However, exceptions can be made in the following cases:

  • Agreed upon by Users in advance
  • If there is a request from the investigation agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed in the laws in accordance with provisions of laws and regulations, or for investigation purposes.
  • Consignment of collected private information

    The Agency may entrust member information to external companies. If such a need arises in the future, the Member shall be notified of the entrusted person and details of the entrusted operation. If necessary, prior consent shall be obtained.
6. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and method of implementation

Users and Legal Representatives may inquire or modify registered private information of Children under the age of 14 at any time, and may request cancellation of membership.

In order to inquire or modify private information of Users or Children under the age of 14, click Change Private Information (or Edit Member Information). To cancel the membership (withdraw consent), click Membership Cancellation. For this, Users are required with identification process for direct view, modify, or cancel. Alternatively, contact the person in charge of private information management in writing, by phone or e-mail for immediate action.

If a Member requests correction of errors in private information, the information shall be used or provided until modified. In addition, if incorrect private information has already been provided to a third party, the Agency shall notify the third party of the modification result without delay.

Private information that has been canceled or deleted at the request of a User or Legal Representative shall be specified in the statement "period of retention and use of private information collected by the Agency" and shall not be viewed or used for other purposes.

7. Matters concerning installation, operation and rejection of the automatic collection device for private information

The Agency shall operate 'cookies' that store and find private information from time to time. A cookie is a very small text file sent to the User's browser by a server used to operate the website of the 'Agency' and is stored on the User's computer hard disk. The Agency shall use cookies for the following purpose:

- To analyze frequency of access or visit time of members and non-members, identify user preference and interests, and provide index analysis and services by identifying participation in various events and number of visits

Members and non-members have the option to install cookies. Hence, Members and non-members may accept all cookies by setting options in the web browser, check each time a cookie is saved, or refuse to save all cookies.

※ How to reject cookies in settings

Example: To refuse cooking settings, accept all cookies by selecting the option of the web browser of the Member and non-members, check whenever cookies are saved, or refuse to save all cookies.

However, if Members and non-members refuse to install cookies, there may be difficulty in using services.
